John Q Harrington
John, better known as “Q”, is happiest when he’s learning something new. His life-long love of learning comes in handy as he works on everything from French’s Mustard to John Deere farm machinery. Over the years, Q has worked on a wide range of B2B and B2C accounts including fifty Fortune 500 Companies.
During his career, Q has won just about every national advertising award there is including winning Best Of Show at the National Addy Awards. He’s been a creative director for major agencies such as Saatchi & Saatchi In New York and Ogilvy & Mather in Atlanta and has helped lead major turnarounds at three mid-sized Kansas City agencies.
During his tenure, these agencies were named Adweek’s Northeast agency of the year, Adweek’s Southeast agency of the year and Ad Age’s National B2B agency of the year. His work has been written about in Advertising Age, Adweek, Communications Arts, Agency, Print, Creativity, and Business Week.
Today, Q continues to write and do creative work for a variety of regional companies and serves as a consultant for companies on brand development and on how to get the most out of their agency relationships. Lately, Q has put his love of learning to work in mastering social media, online video and digital marketing. Oh yeah, and in becoming a certified Scuba diver and travel photographer just to keep things interesting.
